黃蜂2天前送走「舞王」Lance Stephenson，原本位置互相衝突的Gerald Henderson，今天(18日)選擇執行球員選擇權續留。

先前黃蜂跟Stephenson簽下3年2700萬美元合約，但第1年就出現水土不服，也壓縮到自家培養的搖擺人Henderson。

就在球隊送走舞王的2天之後，今天Henderson宣布執行合約中的2015-16年球員選擇權，年薪為600萬美元。

Henderson是球隊在2009年首輪第12順位挑中的選手，也是目前待在黃蜂最久的球員。2014-15年出賽80場，平均12.1分3.4籃板2.6助攻，有51場比賽得分達到雙位數、11場至少20分。
